How to Measure Your Head

Step 1: Prepare Your Hair
Braid your hair down or wrap it flat. Put on a wig cap if you normally wear one.

Step 2: Head Circumference
Start at the centre of your front hairline. Measure around your head, behind your ears and across the nape of your neck, returning to the starting point. Keep the tape snug, but not tight.

Step 3: Front to Nape
Start at the centre of your front hairline and measure straight over the top of your head to the nape of your neck.

Step 4: Ear to Ear
Start at the top of one ear. Measure up and over the crown of your head to the top of the opposite ear.  Measure twice to make sure your measurements are accurate.
